SXSW PanelPicker Deadline is Friday, Sept 4th

Have you voted yet? This Friday is the final voting deadline for SXSW 2010. For those of you unfamiliar with SXSW, it’s an annual internationally recognized Music and Media Conference & Festival, covering Music, Film, and Interactive in Austin, TX. And as I’ve previously announced, I’ve submitted two panel proposals, one for Music and one for Interactive, and would welcome any feedback.

To reiterate, my idea for Music is titled “The Death of Vinyl: The Digital DJ Revolution.” It takes a look at the trend that the DJ and music production industry has taken from traditional vinyl to more digital systems, such as CD’s, digital vinyl, and music manipulation software.

A second panel idea that I’m involved in is for Interactive, titled “Petting Fur, Killing Mobsters for Fun and Profit.” Together with Eugene Hsu from Challenge Games, Austin Chang from MTV Interactive, and Jia Shen, Co-Founder of RockYou!, I’ll represent Razorfish to discuss monetization in the social gaming space.

Please take a minute to vote for both panel ideas by clicking below.
